| I know some of you are great at building PC's and putting the right components together. If you had 1000-1200 dollars how would you spend it? I have been playing on newegg for a couple of weeks now and I think I know what I want, but I would just ask what would you get?
I could really use some help on this, I appreciate it very much for whatever help you could do!

All 3 work fine My current PC is a Budget Build and runs great. I would recommend them to anyone. My first Cyberpower PC i bought was through Tiger Direct. last 2 where bought directly

| Subtract what you don't need, I'm sure you have parts lying around. All those things should play nice together, but obviously you want to check the QVL for memory and heatsink size for spacing and power supply if you have more toys.
Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138159 $179
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115214 $289
video card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127531 $205
power supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139005 $69
hd: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185 $75
heatsink/fan: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181011 $47
case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129061 $183
ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145251 $55
Total is around $1100 + shipping. You can get "more" bang for your buck going AMD, but you're only saving $100+/- for a decent amd setup if you want it to last you a bit.

| do you have a case, can you use your old one? What about PSU, is that still good? What was said about TomsHardware is good advice. Do you have a microcenter near you?

| Got my parts ordered, WOOT!!! Gonna be my 1st build, so we will see how it goes, wish me luck, will hopefully have the parts monday, but I won't be able to touch them until after school ;( Gaming is going to be limited, this semester starting on monday is going to be extremely busy, they want to kill the nursing students in order for us to pass the boards | |
