Banned for being a tank whore?

This can't be yet another server that bans good players now is it?

I just got kicked from the HC air maps server for "Cheating". So a good score automatically means one is cheating?

I am exceptional in the tank (not to toot my own horn), and against a poor team I do quite well.

An admin could have very well gone along with me in my tank to see I know exactly what I am doing in said tank instead of just rashly looking at a score and banning eh? Or just switch me to the other team to help them out as we were crushing them.

Welcome to our forums, not sure what you are posting other then you must have been banned from others servers by your first statement.
The admins meet every Thursday and we discuss issues that come up during the week. We are not a server that bans for being a good player, But there is a fine line between a good player and a good player at using hacks to there advantage. By the arrogance of your post i would think it was the latter.

Arrogance? Don't you think it is a little annoying not cheating, having a good time playing a game and then get kicked from the server with zero warning just because you have a good score?

A: In that game I was in a tank virtually the entire game and the opposing team was pretty darn poor. This does not make it hard to get a good score, especially when the opposing team allows you to come up behind them and kill them en-mass.

B: I, just like all BF3 players have been up against cheaters before. 95% of the time it involves the "insta-kill" no matter where you are on the map cheat, something I obviously wasn't doing. The other percent could be "aim-botting" which I have seen some cheaters do, which I obviously wasn't doing. As a matter of fact, I've never come across an opponent that was "aim-botting" in a vehicle, not even sure that's possible.

C: You'd have to be a pretty crappy cheater to cheat and have stats like mine that aren't exactly stellar. I deplore cheaters as they make the game the hardest for us players that are good. It creates a mentality that if one is a good player and has a great score they "must" be cheating.

D: Why would I go out of my way to create a account and post here if I am a cheater? That would seem like a complete waste of time and be pointless. I have a perfect Punkbuster and Valve account for 10+ years and have won FPS tournaments in the past.

In that video I go 33-3, playing to the side of the monitor setup (so the camera has a straight shot), during a demonstration of my Eyefinity config. You can see my name Zybaine in the video. You can clearly see I am not cheating based on my screen and how many times I miss everything. I was a noob that game. And before you say it, no, putting a tiny sticker on the middle of the screen is not cheating lol.

Look i'm not saying that you did or didnt use any kind of hacks we tend to error on the side of caution. Then as an admin group we look over all the tangibles and make a decision based on what info we have. Like i said previously we meet every Thursday night. I will post any decision we make that is if you are attempting to appeal the ban which you have not stated.

I've seen your stats and they show that of a very good player. Hang in there and give us a chance to sort this out. We are an extremely fair group here but, at the same time, we are protective of our pubs and members gaming experience on our servers. We will have an answer for you after thursday nights meeting.

Zybaine we had our weekly meeting and are going to lift the ban. when we see something that might not seem right we will shoot first and ask questions later. we do this to protect are servers and players from possible cheaters. we are sorry for the inconvenience and hope you will enjoy our servers.
