| Just want to see a concensus as mine seems a bit hot.. Runs 174 degree's F when running BC2, all other games the card runs cooler.... Not sure if im just gonna have to live with that or not as, it does not look like I can add a bigger cooling system to it.. | |

| You should probably use a program to adjust the fan speed of your GPU. I use MSI Afterburner & set my fan speeds. I have my GPU overclocked from 732 core / 1464 shader / 1900 memory to 850 core / 1700 shader / 2000 memory & my max temp running BC2 is 69C/156F What card do you have & did you check your safe temp range of the card? | |

| I'm running ASUS GTX570 DirectCU2, which is a dual fan design and 5 flattened copper heatpipes that contact GPU directly for 20% cooler than generic GeForce GTX570. Its not overclocked and fans run at stock speed. It idles at 90 degrees F and reaches about 115 to 120 degrees F while playing BBC2. In my other machine I'm running the GTX285, not overclocked and stock fan speed. It idles at 108 degrees F and pushes about 140 degrees F while playing BBC2. Both cases are Antec1200. I hope you can get those temps down STEEL | |

| The hottest to date was 52 C on BF2. Usually runs 47-48C (no overclock, no need).

One of their selling point is card that run 20 C cooler; must be working.
Also case is Antec DF-85 with two-140 fans exit on top, one 120 fan exit in back, Cosair H50 cpu cooler with 120 fan, and four 120 fan blowing in to case. All are managed by Asus AII fan management which increase speed of the fans as the case ambient air increases within the case. Must be working because the motherboard and case ambient temp stay around 37 C with fan running fairly quietly (aprox. 1800).

| When I 1st saw this post I was like holy crap that is hot, then as I was gaming tonight I saw that I was getting very similar temps with BC2. It sure cooled off fast when I closed out the game though, good thing, going to have to see what I can do to cool it off better when under load. | |

| After looking up safe temps for my gpu looks like as long as I stay under 80* C I should be fine, some recommend setting the fan speed manually to 60% and I should never have a heat issue, have to try it and see how loud it will be. | |

| That reminds me... I should probably get on cleaning that fan... Inner workings of the computer could definitely use a good cleaning, my fan has been running hard because it's dusty and it's sporadic when I play BC2. And because everyone else is saying that their video cards are getting kinda toasty it's probably the same for everyone. BC2 is a demanding game | |
