So I was on last night for the first time in about 4-6 months. And of course I'm still having problems with my sound card. I have an old Creative Audigy 4. I'm going to go ahead and buy a new one, but first I wanted to get some feed back on this. Sound cards are only as good as there drivers. I was hoping some of you would let me know what you were using and if you have had any problems with it. I'm running Win7 x64.

I have been looking at everything out there and plan on trying to keep it around $100 or less. I hate Creative Labs because of the track record with driver support, or should I say the lack there of. Plus the newest threads are filled with a lot of people having problems with them, but then again....it is the internet, and most people just hate anyways.

So If you can take a min and post what you have and if you have had any problems with its drivers, it would be a huge help. Who ever helps me out the most will get a free pic of Wildman and Steelhed splashing each other in a kiddy pool....just a hint...one of them wears a thong Shocked

I'm using the Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium in both of my computers. One of them is runnig Vista Ultimate 64 Bit and the other Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit. Haven't had any issues with either one of them. If I remember correctly they both cost right around 100.00 from NewEgg. cheers
