| Hey all! I thought I would stop in and say hi, its been a long time since I played and was on. I do plan on getting back on and getting my butt kicked as usual, but I'm currently in an internet... black hole. I ended up moving to Hawaii, because I needed to find a job, and I realized I wasn't going to find it in Oregon. So I moved out here, and I have one current job offer on the table for a temp position, and Monday will tell me if I have a second offer, for a permanent positions, both full time Other then that my internet is A) Pinging from Hawaii, like Oregon wasn't bad enough B)I'm on a wireless card. I'm waiting for an ethernet cord I ordered so I can move the router to the room I'm in so I can plug directly into it, instead of wireless. But I had to get a 100+ ft cable. In the meantime... I'm 'learning' to surf, and enjoying Hawaii... and by learning I mean clinging to the surfboard for dear life, and being tossed around in the waves... and a couple days ago, tossed around on rocks =/ Still healing from that one haha Anyways... thats why I disappeared, and give Cowboy lots of trouble for me, its been to long since I've been able to annoy him | |

| I have a MUCH better proven solution for you Seraphin... The Netgear powerline adapters... MAKE SURE YOU GET THE ONES with the ethernet port, not the USB ports.. If you are on the same power grid, alls you have to do is, plug one into an outlet near your router, then into the ethernet port of your router, and every outlet is live for internet.. Then You simply plug the other one into the socket and then into your ethernet port.. Works like a charm, plug and play litterally... It uses the electrical wiring on your property like an ethernet cable. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833122362&cm_re=powerline_adapter-_-33-122-362-_-Product You can thank me later | |

| The $8 cord is also alot faster than both that & wireless.. I watched a speed comparison vid on utube when I had to move my wifes pc to the other room. | |
