http://www.fraps.com/ http://www.fraps.com/faq.php#videocap this should do the trick, good luck I personally use FRAPS when recording video and audio, on any game. It requires a bit more RAM usage though. I would go from a good 30+ FPS to about 11 when I ran 2 GB of DDR3 RAM on BFBC2. Now I'm running 8 and hardly lose any

| I am so happy this conversation came up.
Problem - doesn't matter what i do I cannot get over 30 fps when recording.
I tried switching resolution and frame rate.
Hard drive configs.
1. O/s and game on SSD (good one 240/ write 200 read) with fraps recording on raptor.
2. o/s and game on raptor with frap recording to ssd
3. o/s on caviar game on raptor recording with ssd
doesnt matter 30 fps.
My goal is to record 1600p but right now I cant even any resolution to record over 30 fps.
I hope some of you experts here can help with this, I would rather know its a setting or something wrong than pay 37 dollars for the support forum on fraps.
system specs:
i7 stk 5870 cross fire ( i tried also with single card and same results) 12 g ddr3
one very important reason i think it is an internal setting or some sort is that even in the menu recording goes to 30 fps. Cant figure it out

| The FRAPS general info page says some games only output at 30 fps. They also talk about Vsync slowing down the frame rate if your video card is faster than your monitors refresh rate.
I don't know if either of these apply in your situation.
