Attack or Sniper?

Some like to spawn into the action, some like to spawn from a distance. In an effort to help place ourselves in appropriate squads when entering the server, I would like each of us to identify 1 of 2 positions you play the most in BC2. Do you prefer to "attack" the position, or "sniper" the position? "Attackers" would be those going after the flag in conquest, or trying to arm/disarm the objective in rush. "Snipers" would be those providing cover and coms from a distance. Please post your preferred style and we will post the results for next weeks community meeting.

As far as I"m concerned, I am not a very good sniper for what ever the reason. I make a much better Assault than anything else. So if I play I usually play the position of assualt, medic or engineer.

Attacker. I usually attack even if i play recon & I normally only play recon on the bigger conquest maps.

I guess sniping is my strength. However I have been mixing it up lately so I would not be opposed to medic or assault. In the last scrim we did not use vehicles so unless we change that up I see no need for one. I would however not be opposed to that either. Whatever the squad needs.

i play them all what ever the team needs, what ever the map is, and how the team is playing...

i probably attack 80% of the time but im a capable snip!!!

What about those of us that attack as a sniper? I'm usually pushing, as a sniper with an svu, on most maps that I'm a recon in.

I love the support role. While my favorite is Anti-Vehicle, I would say my strength is in scouting and sniping. Best sprees and shots as a sniper.

As long as the Chopper is down, and the map is large, I got a long rifle in my hands.

I have my highest score on Assult. 2nd highest on Sniper. 3rd on Medic. 4th on Engineer... if any of that means anything.

I seem to gravitate to the Long shot/rifle/giving Dive the 3rd eye type gameplay. Or medic. If I try anything else I am just cannon fodder. Really enjoy the new Operation Hastings map, I actually can live long enought to figger the map out.

because i'm still getting used to the game i'm trying to get used to all the positions but i definitely am more of an attacker because i do have the ability to shoot an enemy from a definite distance without the use of a sniper rifle. So i guess attacker.

I prefer playing as a engineer. I am not very good at shooting with the smg's but shooting down helicopters is a lot of fun.

I am best in a support role, mainly because I'm not as good with being the front man. Medic and Engineer are my two best classes. I can snipe as well, but heck, anyone can snipe from some distant hill and drop mortar while safe out of harms way......what fun is that in BC2?

BC2 at its best, imho, is all squads rushing forward as a team with just 2 snipers watching their backs from a distance.

I do Assult and Snipe, so I guess I do both ok but not great at either but I'm getting there.

i prefer to be as follows

(1'st) sniper *** Spotter ***
(2'nd) medic
(3'rd) *the one who gives ammo* i forgot the name XD
(4'th) anti tank / anti air class

I am totally versatile and tend to change weapons alot during a match or game play..... consider me versatile.... i have an awesome snipe but will vech kill and attack coms arming disarm... just what ever is needed at the moment to keep the team alive and surviving....

I prefer assault.

I tend to play whatever is needed at the momemt.

If there are vehicles to blow up I like the engineer. Otherwise I usually play medic or assault.

It all depends on the map and the situation.

For the most part I play them all. I think I choose my load out depending on the map, or what is needed at that time. In the end I play them all pretty evenly.

I think I enjoy sniping the most (at least on larger maps).

Otherwise for more personal maps, I prefer Assault. Though I don't like close quarters. I tend to use my 40mm to kill from a little further out.
