Planetside Sunday 2PM PST..

I figured, for the few that have the game, why not have a set time to get together.. Of course day and time is subject to change. For those that have it, many of you are NC at waterson... For those of you that do not have the game and are thinking about downloading it (it's free) please make a New Conglomerate NC, character on the Waterson server so that we're all on the same team and planet..

For those of you that have it, if you haven't played in a while, be sure to preemptively update your game.

= The Hype=
Planetside2 is the ONLY true MMOFPS there is.. Many make the claim but are just an FPS.

This is by far, in my opinion, hands down the most epic FPS ever created and I am now probably ruined for anything less. Not because of it's size and scale, the 2000 players per continent, or it's stunning graphics but, the depth of it.

It can be confusing for a new soldier, but that comes with a huge bonus once a person understands all the elements involved in conquering. For example, in some bases, you have to destroy base shield generators to cap certain bases such as amp stations. You have to keep territories linked on the continent as that is where you're vehicle spawning and infantry resources come from. There is SO much to do in this game.



The more connected territory your factions holds, the more resources your faction get's...

Sony really left nothing to be desired, they thought of everything. The weapons and vehicles are not so rock, paper scissors. Some weapons and vehicles are common between factions, but many are faction specific and have their own unique abilities. All classes and vehicles are upgradeable beyond belief. And there is no limit to how many air or ground vehicles can be spawned...

There are many games inside the game, and once a person understands the mechanics, he can make the game as fast paced or as slow as one wants it. I've sat in a turret shooting down aircraft gaining cert points for an hour before. I've gone behind enemy lines and hacked their equipment to use it against them.

think Battlefield meets command and conquer on steroids and you get the idea. Never, EVER have I been in such massive cinematic battles as I have with Planetside2 in any first person shooter.

The game is free, with the option of micro-transactions and we have a Strength & Honor outfit with a handful of members. (We are the New Conglomerate on the Waterson server so, if you make a character make it NC on waterson). If you can play this game on High, or Ultra with a good framerate, it's heavenly. I upgraded my PC solely to play it and I play it on pretty high with a great framerate with this rig:
