Need some help with PB

Hey everyone, since life is giving me some free time again I wanted to get back to playing some BF3 with everyone.

My problem is that Punkbuster will not update for me. The PBSetup v3.5 just times out on me. I have searched on the net far and wide trying different ideas and nothing seems to work. I have deleted files...put them back...ran pbsvc.exe...got a beer...asked God why PB hates me....everything!

Sometimes when I get lucky and PBSetup v3.5 manages to run it tells me this

Need some help with PB Pbfail10

and sometimes its a different file like "pbs31AD.tmp"

Anyone have any idea what can fix this? Its making my damn eye twitch!

did yo.u .uninstall pb and reinstall it?
r.un pb as admin

I think I had the same problems which involves getting into windows services ( to fix) . If you like I should be on most of the day pop me up and I will be happy to walk you through it
