| Avast works for me has been for the past 6 years. Best thing it is free. Also has a gaming mode. | |

| I'd recommend AVAST over AVG. AVG is one of the worst free AVs. It catches about 20% of the virii out there, where AVAST gets around 50%, these are wild numbers with no statistics behind it other than hearsay from what I've dealt with in the past.
If you're willing to pay, I recommend ESET NOD32, which Newegg has on sale today for a 3 seat 1 year license of ESET NOD32 v4 for under $23 today.
