| I need a good, free antivirus. I know of a few free ones, but just wondering what you all think is the best | |

| I use Microsoft Security Essentials. It is a free download from Microsoft. Regular updates, etc.

| I'd recommend AVAST over AVG. AVG is one of the worst free AVs. It catches about 20% of the virii out there, where AVAST gets around 50%, these are wild numbers with no statistics behind it other than hearsay from what I've dealt with in the past.
If you're willing to pay, I recommend ESET NOD32, which Newegg has on sale today for a 3 seat 1 year license of ESET NOD32 v4 for under $23 today. Here
With code: EMCYTZT1068 Free shipping.
I usually grab one of these a year during sales like this, and its eligible for a free upgrade to ESET NOD32 v5. | |

| I dont see any reason to pay for one.. I think I will try Avast out P.s. This is for my other Pc, not my gaming Pc. | |

| Eset Smart Security 5 works like a charm. Regardless of platform or version, I think Eset does the best job. | |
