06JUL2012 (Midnight) InterNAP Server Maintenance...

InterNAP will be performing maintenance on one of its routers between 10pm and 2am CDT, starting on 7/6. This maintenance may cause brief periods of connectivity loss or increased latency for our servers.


03JUL2012, BF3 Patch R27 rollout...

The updated release has this changelist:
* You can no longer revive someone who has switched team while being dead. This prevents a case where soldiers would be resurrected into the new team while still wearing the old team's uniform.
* The "invisible boats" problem is fixed. We had something similar in BFBC2, and the same solution was applicable in BF3.
* You can no longer equip the M320 Smoke grenade launcher to the underslung rail on the AUG 7. This prevents the AUG getting insanely high bullet velocity (and therefore, no discernible bullet drop).

EA/DICE provided us with version R37 (1139617). This new patch fixes bugs in BF3 that can lead to crashes and stability problems.

The nature of this patch requires us to roll it out to all servers at once, so we have scheduled that to occur early in the morning on February 9th. Between 2am and 4am PST, you should see your server go offline briefly while the new patch is globally applied.

NOTICE from DICE: Despite our security measures, we have been working around the clock to mitigate the impact of an ongoing denial-of-service attack on our Battlefield 3 game infrastructure over the last several days. While the motives are unclear, the focus of the attack has been interference with network communications preventing access to multiplayer gameplay. At this point, no user data is involved.
