Super Fast CPU or Internet Speed?

Which is really more important? Having a super fast CPU or super fast internet? I sometimes think that when I may think someone is cheating, they just may have a better setup on both of these things.

I can understand this when they come around corners or it seems they shoot me faster than I shoot them. Thoughts?

I would think faster internet, as in, syncing up with the server quicker, would be the advantage and why someone with the faster internet could turn a corner, and on his screen, he HAS turned the corner, and a slower connection may not have seen the same thing at the same time.. People have been accused of a wallhack for just that scenario.

I think you need to find a balance cause if you have a great internet conection but your cpu cant keep up with the game then your game play is getting bottle necked by the cpu. Also if its the other way around then you internet is the issue. I would like to add that when gaming you want to have a fast upload rate cause thats where you get the smooth play. My up rate is about 90kbs which is more than enough.
