“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” 2 Corinthians 4:17

“For You, O Lord, are good, and ready to forgive [our trespasses, sending them away, letting them go completely and forever]; and You are abundant in mercy and loving-kindness to all those who call upon You.” Psalm 86:5

Something I think a lot of people need to truly accept and evaluate. Its not enough to know and accept God's grace and forgiveness, you must learn to forgive yourself as well. Let it go knowing that no matter how much you feel you've done wrong, the Lord loves you and will always pursue you to return to His flock.

“Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord [the only Lord]. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being and with all your might.” Deuteronomy 6:4-5

“But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed].” 1 Corinthians 2:9

Something happens to us when we struggle with physical, emotional, or financial problems. Either we can become paralyzed by our problems turning inward and get hooked on pity, or we can defeat the inclination to turn inward and allow God to help us grow thru these difficulties.

that you don't turn your back when we're in trouble. Help us to minimize
our struggles, yet at the sametime, help us recognize that any struggles
we have are small in comparison to the sacrifices You have made for us."

“We ought and indeed are obligated [as those in debt] to give thanks always to God for you, brethren, as is fitting, because your faith is growing exceedingly and the love of every one of you each toward the others is increasing and abounds.” 2 Thessalonians 1:3
