Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad

Not sure if you guys have been keeping up with this title lately, but it is mind blowing. There are so many features in this title, it brings a new level of experience and enjoyment to a First Person Shooter.

It has a lot of issues at the moment, especially regarding some of the newer hardware, but most people are able to run the game smooth. Tweak-able ini files make it easy to customize, and get the best efficiency out of your rig. Expect some solid patch's and amazing support from the developer.

I have been following this game a bunch. Being kind of a WWII buff I luv games that take us back to that period in time. However, I am not really impressed with the appearance of this game at all. The features are stellar but the graphics look like Call of Duty United Offensive caliber.

I know dev's are claiming you need a kick ass system to run it but come on add some eye candy.

Actually, when the graphics are on ultra, its very detailed and looks amazing. In the average room, there are about 20-30 times as many polygons than in Bad Company 2. The textures are very detailed as well when turned up. Most of the video's and screenshots are on lower settings.

Here is one from the beta, which actually lacks a few of the high end graphics features...He stops commentary after a minute or so, but it gives a good idea medium-high settings for the current build.
