I gave my missus a 3" slug for her first time firing my 12g. She had it into her bicep, really impressed she didn't drop it. It was -30C and with the big jacket she couldn't feel it seated right.
I put about 20 slugs through it today along with about 25 target load. My shoulder does feel it.
