Prayers needed.

Sorry I haven't been on much lately. We received word recently that my wife's sister has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Her doctor is afraid it may have already entered the lymph nodes and liver. She has an appointment Friday at the Iowa City Cancer Research Hospital for further counseling. I am devoted to support my wife and her sister thru this difficult time. Your thoughts and prayers are needed.

Unfortunately one of my close family freinds has died in an accident my prayers for both you and your family, and also my plea for prayers for him and his family. He left a wife and two kids. Sad

Hey Brothers!

My Pastor has two sons that suffer from MS and go everywhere in wheelchairs. He has another son that is normal.

Caleb, the older of the two MS guys was leaning forward in his wheelchair unwantingly, which was cutting off his air supply. Last Thursday he went through a 9 hour surgery to have two steel rods placed in his back. This will give his back the support needed to prevent him from leaning forward against his will.

Both my Pastor and his wife are constantly by his side. He is suffering from pain.

I would like some prayer for Caleb. Ask God to relieve his pain and make him more comfortable.

I cannot imagine how difficult this is for the whole family. My thoughts and prayers are with Caleb, your Pastor, and his wife.

Hey Brorher, I will be praying that everything will taken care of according to God's will and that thier son's will be healed and the pain caused by this will be no more and that your Pastor's strength and his wife's strength will be renewed.

Caleb came home on Wednesday but returned to hospital on Thursday, because the medicine they gave him was making him sick, and he could not hold down any food. Caleb is still in extreme pain and is having a difficult time with that.

From what I understand his mom has not left his side once. She has been there 24/7. The church has been providing that family food which gives them a break from daily cooking.

ok guys for all you true believein faithful christians, i would ask that you would to begin to pray for and believe WITHOUT doubt that God will heal Butterfly of her illness and make her whole so that she might go on to get her desired job as a lifeguard. Just remember that it says in Isaiah 53:5,

" But he was pierced for our transgressions,he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed."

I need prayer. As you know I had a heart attack on Dec. 20th and spent that week in the hospital.

Last night I had another bout of chest pain that scared the heck out of me. I reached for my Nitro but didn't take one.

Today I have been an emotional wreck. Tonight I have Men's Accountability at church so I'm totally looking forward to this. But I need some more strength for the ability to carry me through these painful times that I'm having to deal with.

My biggest fear is going into Cardiac Arrest. I live by myself and I would not be found for probably a couple of days.

This is going to be a rocky time for me. Unemployed with no Medical Insurance. I cannot even look for work again until near March 1st, providing I don't have another attack. That's the release date my Cardiologist gave me.

I have spent in the past, several hours studying the Bible per day. I have not done that in a while and right now I'm feeling guilty, even though He is on my mind consistently.

Man I'm sorry to hear about your health issues....I'll keep you in prayer, brother. You're doing the right thing; keep in close with our Lord and stay in fellowship with your brothers at church.

I'll pray for you Stew. That you will find a calming strength while reading the Bible. The Word of God is powerful medicine! I pray that you reach out for support from your Church. Remember that Jesus is not afraid of fear. He never said, "Don't bring your fears to me." Instead He said, "I'm not afraid of the things that cause you fear. Bring your fears to me."

I pray that God will bring you healing and comfort. Hold tightly to your faith, and most of all pray that God's will be done.

"But the centurion replied, "Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed." Matthew 8:8

I will pray for you as well, asking that God show His mercy and love through the healing you need. God bless you.

Thanks for the prayers. I still am having chest pains. I had two more this morning between 2 and 3 am. Ths is stressful to say the least.

Since I posted last, I have come to realize that God uses different means necessary to get your attention. I believe that totally. I started studying the bible yesterday for the first time in quite awhile. I think I feel a little bit better spiritually because of it.

I want to thank you Al for having this forum. It isn't the first time that a forum such as this has helped me out as you well know.

Stew there is no need to thank me I am just doing what the Father laid on my heart to do, like it was said to me once, It's not your ability but your Availibility, and I just try to make myself available to Him and do my best to be obediant to what He ask's me to do. You are in my heart and my prayer's brother and I believe fully that God will show up and show out and give you full recovery and make you whole again and I believe this through faith, because the word say's that without faith you can not please God, and I could really care less if I please man but I really try and want to please my Father in heaven. Stew just hang in there because you will have a full recovery In the Name of Jesus and you will live and NOT die and I command these thing's to come forth In the Name of Jesus. Like I said just hang in there because you have your healing it was given to you over 2,000 year's ago when your Lord and Saviour gave His life for you and took this sickness.
