btw I love the sig iron but could you see what you can work up thats more rounded around the Rangers, if you need more info on my unit and the combat theaters I was in just let me know, and again brother I love the sig. | |

Well first off, I was never a straight leg. Joined the ARMY at 18 years old. MOS 11B. Right out of basic I went to Airborne School, and from there to RIP. 98-01. Ft. Benning became my home. Career was short lived do to blowing my right knee out which then led to nerve damage to my feet after a really bad jump. I would still be there today if it weren't for that jump. "Bicycle bicycle bicycle" ring any bells? I ended up with the silly name after cooking a grenade off in a live fire. After a mild scolding by the 1SG, he started calling me spoon because he made me wear it (the spoon from the grenade that I threw) around my neck tied to some 550 cord for about a month. After that the name stuck for good. Over the years I have learned to have fun with it. Still have buddies that call me up wanting to talk to "SpooN"!! RLTW brother. Sua Sponte | |

Sua Sponte LMAO Spoon, you got off Lucky. we had a recruit cook off a nade in Basic, SDI painted his helmet liner Pink and He was Private Penis Head till graduation. I spent 3 years at Benning in the 197th. Wish I had every dollar i spent on VD Drive and Ranger Joes. | |
