If you choose AMD, go with an ATI/AMD vid card. Something from here:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007709%20600083901%204017&IsNodeId=1&name=%24100%20-%20%24200

I would go with (but thats just me)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072
$224.99

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131705
$154.99

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145348
$59.99

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007709%20600094002%204017&IsNodeId=1&name=%24100%20-%20%24200
Alot to choose for under $150
Could even use an ATI/AMD card with this also.

This mobo is ready for current and future AMD setups. Supports USB 3.0, ATI Dual, Triple, or Quad CrossFireX video cards with onboard 7.1 CH HD Audio Surround and THX TruStudio PRO Blue-ray support. Well, i look at it this way:
The phenom you guys suggest vs. the 2500K:

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/288?vs=88
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110113081720AAsK5XA
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/306380-31-deciding-2500k-build
http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=666255

OUCH! No contest geek

Just for the heck of it:
The Phenom II X4 970 BE ($169.99) vs. the 2500K:
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/186?vs=288
Still not there.

The Phenom II X6 1090T BE ($199.99) vs. the 2500K
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/146?vs=288
Closer

Finally the Phenom II X6 1100T BE ($229.99) vs. the 2500K
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/203?vs=288
Wins a couple, but still loses in gaming benchmarks

Any questions?

nothing beats the sandy bridge in value, bigtime is 100%right.

Ps- we should be looking at gaming graphs mostly for games we play to help our members make best decision.
