I pray this does not escalate into anything more but if it does I will have back operated on in hopes that I'll be able to re-enlist I know you're sayin they wont take me back because of it but if this gets bigger than this they might not have a choice because our troops are already streched thin. Let's just pray that it doesn't go any futher than it already has.

This is very unfortunate... Last thing we need is, another proxy war, especially between China and the U.S. .... because, thats pretty much what it would be.. As much as China see's N. Korea as a liability, they have NO choice but to align with it in ANY case being so adjoined to it.. The logistical issue I see here is, while S. Korean cooler heads prevail, the North is not so made up of cooler heads... If i had to guess, I'd say Kim Jong Ill is about to die, which would explain such a brazen attack.. The selfishness of a dictator only dies with the dictator... It would be a devastating blow to have this escalate for SO many diplomatic reasons.. Sabre rattling is one thing, attacking a nation is a whole different thing...
