Just wanted to share something with you guys over here at S&H. Maybe some will step back a realize how lucky many of us are.

My 7 year old son Tony will be playing in the Bandit Bowl on 10/24/2010 at LaSalle High School 1pm. His team "St. Veronica St. Thomas More Vikings aka SVTM" will be playing "Our Lady of Grace". There is a special boy on this team also named Tony, which my son will have the privilege of playing on the same field with. Tony is fighting brain cancer with little success. Doctors have given him permission to run one play named "Special 88". He was able to run the play once earlier this year.

Here is a link.

I could not imagine having this fall upon my children. Watching and helping my son learn the game this year has been a fathers dream. One of the reasons I have been so busy. Thoughts and Prayers to the family and all those others out there who have had such misfortune.

Wow. That actually made me tear up a bit. I also know from personal experience that we really need to consider how valuable life really is.
