There is a new section in the forums for Planetside 2...

This section is Non-Beta discussion ONLY... There is also a teamspeak channel for Planetside 2. However, it can only be accessed once you are accepted to the beta. It is locked and new beta testers will have to verify their beta acceptance with shootist in order to obtain access.

I am extremely excited and looking forward to this game. For me, it is the next step in FPS genre. I truly wish EA would grow a pair and have DICE make an MMOFPS. Nothing like massive battles and being immersed in teamwork of a large squad. I am not yet in the beta, and will be updating the new forum section regularly.

This is a first person shooter, Mass Effect 3 is a third person shooter. The multilayer on this is HUGE. Hundreds of players. In Mass Effect you have single player and 4 player co-op.

And this will be free to play! I would like to see everyone try it out. It wont cost you a thing, and it is a blast!

Shootist, would you be willing to give us all an update on this game during the Thursday night community meeting? Would like to hear more about it to see if the S&H community is interested. Couple questions come to mind. How are the servers hosted? How would you join a friend or find your favorite server?
