USS Nimitz salutes Everett

A row of sailors stands at attention on the deck of the USS Nimitz, a nuclear-powered multi-mission aircraft carrier, as it arrives at Naval Station Everett on Friday, March 9, 2012. The 1,092 foot Nimitz has just finished sea trials and a year-long $239 million overhaul at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton. The Nimitz, which brings about 3,000 sailors and many of their families to Snohomish County, replaces the USS Abraham Lincoln, which deployed in December 2011.

Been on the Nimitz; great ship. Glad to see it got an overhaul though. Those ships take one hell of a beating over time.
