I didnt know how many MMA fans were in the clan so I decided to post this.
This is a loss for my son but as his teacher said "a hard loss is better than an easy win any day"
My son Competed in NAGA (North American Grappling Association) Tournament in Boca Raton fighting for ATT (American Top Team) this summer and it was a glorious day for his dad.
My son has 10 weeks experience, opponent 2 years
My son was 42 lbs, opponent 49.5
My son 7 years old, opponent 8
He tried his best and gave it 150% on the reactor every match. He learned a valuable lesson today, and got standing ovation from the crowd even though he lost. I still bought him the samurai sword (a first place prize in weight class) cause he had the guts to get up there and fight in front of 2k people. VERY hard for a father to see a son sacrifice, train, struggle, suffer, and loose.
